East Bay La Raza Lawyers Association

Citizenship Fair Tomorrow, Sat. July 28

Oakland ACORN is a community organization of low to moderate income families working for social change. On Saturday, July 28th, we will be hosting a citizenship fair that will assist residents in completing their citizenship applications and connect them with other resources they will need throughout the process. As you likely know, the application fees increasing substantially on July 30th.

We are inviting you to participate in the fair by offering legal advice and information about your services to the fair’s participants. It’s important to us that participants in the fair are connected with the resources they will need throughout the citizenship process.

The fair will be Saturday, July 28th, from 9am-4pm, at 1470 Fruitvale Ave (right by the Fruitvale BART), in the Spanish Speaking Citizen’s Foundation. While we’d be thrilled if you could be there for the whole day, we recognize that’s a big commitment—whatever time you can give will be very appreciated!

For more information, please see the attached fliers. You may also visit our website: http://www.acorn.org/oakland to learn more about our organization. Also, please feel free to write or call me.

Will you be able to attend?
